      May Day Celebrations

      · Events

Following on from our coronation event last year, St Martins braved the fear of the weather forecast and put on a traditional May Day Festival for all the community. There was cake a plenty, bacon butties, flower garlands music and May Pole dancing for all ages.

Here are a few pictures from the day

A talk on the wild flowers in the church yard. We are blessed with having many many different plants and flowers present at this time of year.

The May Pole- currently in its unknotted state!

Looking inside the church- note vicar near the cake table- as expected.

Bacon butties- good any time of day.
