      A Taste of Japan

      · Events

Saturday saw a unique event unfold at St Martin's, 'A Taste of Japan' an opportunity to come alongside some of the local Japanese community from across Kent and others as they showed us details of how to make sushi, Japanese calligraphy, how to wear a Yukata (a light cotton kimono), Items and displays from the Aikido martial art, Haiku (Japanese poetry) writing (in English!), and all washed along with green tea and some chatter. We met a good number of new faces and hope that everyone enjoyed themselves as the church was packed! With our thanks to all who contributed to the event.

Here are a few of the photos from the afternoon.
